Hi guys. Welcome back. I love the look of fale lashes but I'm too lazy to use them often, so I'm constantly looking for great mascara and eyelash products to give me the same or similar effects to wearing false lashes. Mascara primers are great but most of them are white and I don't like them because it's usually a chore (for me) to ensure the white bits are covered up (just too much work joor!)
That's why I picked up the Estee Lauder Little Black Primer.

What Estee Lauder says :
Unlike traditional lash primers that are white, this primer is tinted black, so you can use it on its own.
What I say:
It's alright. I like the fact that it's black, but I wouldn't use this on it's own. I like full
voluminous lashes and using this on it's own did not do that for me. I used it like every other primer product; with something else on top.
I layered different mascaras over it at different times and I liked the results. My lashes did not feel hard and brittle which was nice, but apart from that, the results did not blow me away. And for the price point, I need to be blown away. there are so many drugstore mascaras that give me the same result at a fraction of the price
So I would say this is a "nice-to-have-if-you've-got-extra-cash-to-spend" or you just love Estee Lauder, but I don't think it is a necessity.
Where to Buy:
You can find this at Sephora stores, sephora.com, Estee Lauder counters at Department Stores.
In Nigeria, you can find this at The Nail Studio, 9 Bishop Aboyade Cole Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Three ways to wear it:
Tint: Colors and lifts bare lashes so they stay silky black throughout the day and even overnight.
Amplify: As a primer, it’s the optimal mascara base for volume, lift and length.
Set: Brush over mascara for a long-wearing, water-resistant topcoat that helps reduce smudging and flaking.
No well-dressed lashes should be without it.

Pros:
- It's black, so you don't have those pesky white bits peeking out under your mascara.
Cons:
- It's too expensive for what it is, there are cheaper alternatives.
- It's an extra step in your makeup routine, if you don't have a lot of time for your makeup.
