So back to our regular scheduled programming. I think it would be good to continue where we left off; Favourites.
If you're following me on Instagram, you've probably seen most (if not all of these) already.
1. Belif Aquabomb Moisturiser and Eye Cream
I fell in love with these two after trying the deluxe minis in the BestSellers Set I got at Sephora earlier this year in April. Loved them so much I went out and got the full sizes.
The moisturiser is perfect for my oily, sensitive, acne-prone skin. The skin under my eyes is really really dry and been looking for something to moisturise that area and the Aquabomb eye cream does the trick.
I regret buying just one jar of moisturiser because it is THAT good. I will definitely repurchase (when I get someone to help me get it from Sephora and send down to Lagos) but I don't see myself repurchasing the eye cream. As much as I love it, I don't love the price. I will go back to the Tarte Eye cream or try a drugstore alternative. I'd rather use the money to buy extra jars of moisturiser.
I go them both at Sephora.
2. Eco Styler Black Castor and Flaxseed Oil Gel
If you're following me on instagram (you really should be ya know), you'll know I love this. I've seen all the hullabulloo about Ecostyler on YouTube recently and personally I haven't had any issues with is.
I use this to lay my edges and as long as I tie it down with a scarf for about 10 minutes after applying, my edges stay flat all day. I also love that it doesn't flake off and leave a white residue.
I got it from Ebeano Supermarket in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, Nigeria.
3. Bath & Body Works Coco Shea Aloe Gel Lotion
I live in a hot and humid climate and sometimes, some body lotions and creams tend to be either not moisturizing enough or too sticky. In comes this baby. I got this on sale (for like $2, SCOREEEE!!) at Bath and Body Works while I was in the US recently and it was REALLY HOT, so this cream came in handy. It's exactly what it says: a really refreshing gel lotion. It has a nice cooling sensation on the skin and moisturises quite nicely. In the spirit of full disclosure though, I do add a bit of my favourite body oil (Arawa Luminous Glow Oil) when i'm rubbing my feet, simply because my feet drink lotion and tend to get white easily. I do like it and I regret buying just one, considering it was such a steal (those Bath & Body Works Sales can be crazy!!)
