YSL Volupte Sheer Candy No. 12 Tasty Raspberry

Hi everyone,

Remember I told you I got an awesome goody bag from the Lancome event I attended recently? Well part of the awesomeness was this YSL Volupte Sheer Candy Glossy Balm Color in No. 12.

If you're familiar with YSL beauty, you wont be surprised at the pretty packaging. Very expensive-looking and fancy (we like fancy over here too, hehe). It's pretty weighty and sleek.

Back to the product itself. In the tube, it looks like a pretty pink with subtle silver shimmer.

As the name suggests, it is a sheer lip product, so don't expect tons of product with this. On my lips (which are pretty pigmented) it's a clear glossy balm with a light pink hue and a hint of shimmer. It's actually really pretty, for succulent looking lips ( I don't really need much help in that department though, lol).

It goes on really smooth, like all the YSL lip products I own and has a slight raspberry scent ( like the shade name would suggest) but not sickly sweet and it goes away pretty quickly. I typically wear it as it's marketed; a glossy balm. It's great for days when you're not in the mood for any lip colour but you  still want to feel fancy-ish and you don't want crusty dry lips that day. It lasts about 3-4 hours on me , without eating full meals or drinking loads) . It's not exactly marketed as a long lasting product, so I don't expect it to last even through meals and drinks.

I like this and I think it's a nice-to-have. You can get it from The Beauty bar by Essenza at the Palms shopping mall and all Essenza outlets that have the YSL Beauty stand.

Do you have this? Please tell me what you think about it. I love hearing from you guys!!! xxx
