Coveralls & Lipstick

Hi everyone, as you can tell from the name of this blog, I have a thing for lipstick. As much as I love eyeshadow, I feel lipstick is one of the easiest ways to spruce up any look. Just a good base, lined eyes, a bit of mascara and a great lip. So today, I'm going to share are a few of my current favourites (including liquid lipsticks).

MAC Modesty:

This is not only a current favourite but one of my all time favourite nude lipsticks. It's my go-to everyday lipstick. I line my lips with NYX Espresso or Zaron Cappuccino lip pencil.It has a Cremesheen finish. MAC Cremesheens have a creamier texture than mattes and are more colour payoff than the Lustres. They are pigmented and moisturising (when you first apply it) on the lips.

Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Matte Lip Color in Divine Wine:

Apart from nude lipsticks. I love deep, dark vampy colours as well. his one from Maybelline is really creamy and I love the colour on my skin. The formula of these Creamy mattes from maybelline are truly really creamy and comfortable on the lips.

Here I go with nude again, lol!! What can I say, I'm a "nude-ist" ( geez, that was so lame!!) Again, I love the formula of these maybelline lipsticks. This is a pretty mid tone pinky brown nude, perfect for everyday. I top it with MAC Lip lustre glass in Love Nectar (another holy grail!).





Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Vampira

I love love love the formula of Kat Von D's liquid lipsticks. They're really comfortable on the lips and don't dry my lips out. Vampira is a gorgeous deep red with ever so slight metallic gold finish that gives it some dimension. The gold is not visible on the lips but it is definitely there.

MAC Flat Out Fabulous

I've been reaching for this lipstick very often in the past few weeks.I normally pair it with Magenta or Heroine lip pencil. It's such a gorgeous magenta/pink/purple/fuschia colour in MAC's Retro  Matte finish, but it's not as drying as Ruby Woo. However, the formula of this particular shade is wierd, it starts to flake after a while if you apply too much, so be careful. (Sorry, I don't have a picture of myself wearing it)

Coloured Raine Berry Raine and Raine Fever

These are two different liquid lipsticks but I rarely ever wear them alone, I always mix the two together and I quite like the result.
