My Go-To Neutral MAC Eyeshadows

Hello everyone, there are a LOT of eyeshadows on the market and a LOT of good ones in every price range.

However, this post will feature my picks of must-have MAC eyeshadows (from my little collection). Yes,I'm sure there are plenty of dupes out there, but this post is primarily about MAC,because I tend to reach for them on a daily basis (whenever I wear eyeshadow). And No,this is not a sponsored post. So let's get into it.

Clockwise: Woodwinked, All That Glitters, Brown Script, Embark

I'm sure you guys are tired of hearing me rave about this colour, but it's truly my favourite lid colour from MAC. I have hit pan and almost having a panic attack, because the way the dollar to naira exchange rate is going,I don't know when I'll get a replacement (HELP!!!). It's truly a beautiful warm gold-ey antique bronze colour that just suits my skintone really well. The texture is also really creamy and blends very well. It comes in my favourite MAC eyeshadow finish, which is Veluxe Pearl.

Brown Script

Aaah, Brown Script. The infamous Brown Script. Any makeup junkie would know this infamous eyeshadow. It's the perfect warm reddish mid-tone brown used as a crease or transition colour for most women of colour ( MAC NC 45 and up). It warms up any eye look and really is just perfect.  (Dupe is Makeup Geek's Cocoa Bear).

All That Glitters

This is my second favourite lid shade. It's a pretty, shimmery pink with strong taupey, mauvey undertones (sorry,I found this colour tough to describe). It's also a Veluxe Pearl finish.

This is my go-to outer V colour when I don't want it to be too smokey, just to create definition. It's an intense reddish brown with a matte finish ( I don't use shimmery colours on the Outer V because the aim is to create a shadow; using a shimmery colour will defeat the purpose of that).

I put them in an empty Pro Palette from MAC because I use them all the time, so they're all in one place and also travel friendly.
