MakeUp Forever Artist Palette Vol 1 Nudes You Need: Swatches and First Impressions

If you know me, you know that I LOVE eyeshadow. My favourite finish for eyeshadows are metallic and satin finishes. I like matte eyeshadows as well, but they have to be really good quality to work well, but I digress.

My latest addition to my eyeshadow palette arsenal are the MakeUp Forever Artist Eyeshadow Palettes in Vol 1 and Vol 2. This post will be about Vol 1.

MakeUp Forever recently re-formulated their eyeshadows and this palette contains 9 of these reformulated shadows.

The Vol 1 palette consists of 9 neutral shades

What MakeUp Forever Says:

What it is:

What I say:

The shadows come in sturdy cardboard packaging with each shadow is glued down TIGHT. It also has a nice, large mirror. The colors are rich and pigmented with a creamy gel-like texture that glide on beautifully on the skin. They also work well together to create different looks for both day and night.

Bottom Line:

I love this palette. I especially love the value for money. An indivudual MUFE artist shadow (0.07oz)  retail for $21, so getting 9 shadows (0.06oz each) for $42 is fantastic value.  However, because most of the shades are shimmery,  it is not a stand-alone palette, so you would definitely need to use other matte shadows. But other than that, I would definitely recommend this palette.
